It’s raining! Yay! 🌦☺💜 Just hope the lightning doesn’t get worse… Thunder and crazy wind can be relaxing, to a point. 😅
We were SO dry out here. Can smell the smoke and ash from fires all around mixed with the earth and the rain. Animals are happy. Plants are happy. We’re happy. Rain barrels are definitely happy! There are actually two in this area of the yard but one is shorter and hidden behind that fence. There is another large storage tank off the studio and garage, too. Going to definitely get more for around the rest of the buildings, and especially out in the ag acreage. Want to be as sustainable as possible and not just rely on the well! 🌧✨
The Mr. is home but doing some remote work for one of the fire stations in the county. IT work never ends, especially when you’re supporting essential services! Glad he can be home with us for this, though. Not driving around all over like he used to back in Florida… He was remote but not as capable as now. (Oh, the times from Naples to Orlando and back in one day!)
How is the weather where you are? Hope you are home whether it is nice or not. Well, at least somewhere safe that you can enjoy, even if working remotely. Or working outside the house somewhere. Much better to be nicer weather, but saw a lot of the country is getting nastiness, too. Saw some parts around here in Cochise County got hail again. Others lost power. The emergency stuff just keeps dinging!
