Zoe is home and resting on some heavy drugs. Even drugged up, however, she slipped out of her e-collar so many times they had to rig it up with her regular collar and some harness-like work with the regular tie. Biopsy results in 3-5 business days. Didn’t seem to affect the eye, at least! Also had to remove three teeth. She even had a fracture from when she chewed on hard bones. Apparently those and the antlers are super bad for their teeth. Looks like it is time for all the dogs to get new Kongs!

Somehow have to keep her from barking for 10-14 days so her stitches don’t come out. Also can only take her out briefly on a leash. No more lounging in the sun then running to chase lizards or the puppy. After that time passes, she gets her stitches out and such. We’ll see how this goes. Have to take turns watching her tonight, too. Told she will be a bit confused.

Maddie and Cooper were both so cute when she came home. Thankfully being very gentle, too. 🙏 (So far…)
